Tras conseguir el “bicampeonato” del Mundo y su cuarta copa del Mundo en su historia, la Selección de Estados Unidos regresó a su país; sin embargo , fue hasta este día cuando celebraron con sus aficionados.
Como ya es una costumbre en todos lados, las campeonas salieron a las calles de Nueva York para realizar una caravana ofreciendo el título a sus seguidores.
Dentro de los festejos, las más aclamadas fueron las dos figuras, Megan Rapinoe y Alex Morgan, quienes lograron obtener la bota de oro y plata, respectivamente.
